People who donated to Sport Relief last night - what did you think of the show?

I know that this topic is not necessarily looking at general fundraising ideas - it is aiming at everyone who donated to Sport Relief during its televised fundraising marathon last night. It is fundraising in some shape or form, isn't it, folks!

I'm sure that the Beeb and Sport Relief would love to know what people's comments are about the show last night.

I donated myself on the phone and I have to say in the whole of televised charity marathons I have seen on television over the years, the short films, in particular can I most mention Tess Daly and Annie Lennox here on 2 fantastic films which really did shock people with what they seen, myself included, and brought home the fact that there are many people a lot less fortunate than ourselves.

Tess' emotions in her film in Bangladesh were no doubtedly real and you can easily see in her the motherly instinct she has, in particular having a daughter herself (we are talking about little Phoebe Kay here, folks!) and it was a real shock to see how bad full blown AIDS was in a child so young which Annie Lennox, who many people know is not only a fantastic singer herself, but also a majorly well-known HIV and AIDS activist herself, then the contrast after the child starting receiving ARVs within the 6 months later Annie revisited her. Bravo to both Tess and Annie with some of the most hard-hitting short films I have ever seen in any television charity marathon event on the Beeb!

Who knows, Tess, Annie, Gary, Davinia, Patrick, Claudia, etc, might even read this, folks! To everyone last night, well done on a fantastic show - congratulations - and to everyone this weekend, get your trainers on and do your bit for Sport Relief!
