Why take on this challenge?

It's simple. Alan and Adrian want to raise as much money for Sport Relief as they possibly can.

Both Alan and Adrian recently visited Africa to see what a difference Sport Relief cash can make to people's lives. As Alan says, "My trip to Uganda was one of the most humbling experiences of my life. I met people who are struggling to feed and take care of their children because of the devastating effects of HIV/AIDS, but saw that a little help goes a long way too."

Likewise, Adrian was visibly overwhelmed by the poverty he saw in Liberia but also encouraged by people's ability to cope against all the odds. He visited a special project which helps children who have missed out on getting an education because of the devastating affects of 14 years of civil war. Adrian saw how money raised through Sport Relief can help children in desperate need by giving them the education they've been denied - which is a bit like giving them a ticket out of poverty. He realised that, with a little help, these children have the chance of a much brighter future.

Seeing for themselves the impact that even a small amount of cash can have on children's lives, their families, and even whole communities, has inspired the boys to take on this huge challenge.

They don't want to sit on their backsides and do nothing - instead they're getting on the saddle and pedaling for pounds!

So get behind the boys!

Help them raise loads of cash and sponsor them now!
